What a crazy couple of months! I ended up getting the stove serviced and now won't part with it. I had a positively wonderful service man Henry. I highly recommend him for making your old stove like new ;)
My parents were here to help out - doing everything from hanging blinds, to gardening, to unpacking, to cooking me dinner O:). They were an immense help and I'll never be able to repay them!
I am fairly well settled, still anxious about the mortgage, but everyone says that too will pass :)
