Busy month?

Ah, I have long neglected my blog. What can I say, I've been busy!

Julian moved in mid January, I had LASIK early February, I went home for a wedding in Savannah (Hi Julie!), I still have my incredible foster dog Tillie, and I've been working long hours on a charity event and for work - getting the teaser for our next fabulous film out.

The teaser is easily the best one we've ever done... I can't wait for the general public to see it!

The charity event is fast approaching - on April 8th, Pixar is hosting a Gala Preview of Cars for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I've been volunteering for JDRF since my days in NC, but got really involved when I moved out here. Then, out of the blue, after volunteering for the Gala (non-Pixar related), word came that we were doing a Pixar event. Turns out John Lasseter's pet charity just happens to be JDRF. Now I am volunteer coordinator once again for this upcoming event, and have also been doing a bit of work with the fabulous Carmi for procurement of auction items.

I am also still fostering Tillie, a puppy dog eyes lovebug of a shepherd mix, and Julian has been most helpful taking care of her while I am working long hours.

The moving in scenario is going surprisingly well. If anything, we see less of each other than I expected between long hours and mismatched schedules. But on Saturday after putting in a full 8 hours or more, I came home to a wonderful wine, wild mushroom risotto and roasted root vegetables. Ah. See, if I lived alone, I would have eaten cereal! So all in all, I can't complain.

Back to work... I wrote this quickie while waiting on renders!
