I am home from surgery and doing okay. It turns out that I did NOT have
synovial chondromatosis/tumor. Instead, I have synovitis, an abnormal lump of
cartiledge, and femoral-acetabular impingement.
They removed the funky cartiledge and reshaped my bone. Now comes four accident
prone weeks of crutches!!! Overall, I am doing well, but I am not responding to
email quite yet. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers!
The
countdown begins to getting my tumor out of
my hip :) :) I might also have femoral acetabular impingment. If so, it means even
longer on crutches post op. But such is life - as long as it is fixed, I
don't care!
