I bought a quilt and hung it. More
complicated than it
sounds ;)

Gradient had a fin rot scare, but he is doing fine these days. Julian is
coming to visit this weekend and it couldn't come soon enough!

I've been accused of not updating this page enough ;)
What's new? I bought a bed, made a trip to seattle, gradient got sick but
recovered with some TLC. Not too much new here to report.

Struggling recently in my religious life a little. Sometimes I stray from
the path I want to be on a little. Right now seems to be one of those
times. My church seems to be going through a rough patch.

Georgia Tech is off to not-too-bad-start of a football season and my
alumni club is actually making efforts to watch games together! That is
rewarding :)

My friend Ben has gotten back together with an old flame, proving that
sometimes fate will bring back together those that are meant to be. Life
overall is stellar, and given the state of the world (and what the US is
doing to the rest of the world), I lead a blessed and happy life, for
which I have utter thanks and gratitude. I think sometimes we forget how
lucky we are. I can complain about a dirty floor, or I can be thankful
that I don't have a dirt floor. I can complain about the cost of insulin,
or I can be grateful that I even have access to insulin. Americans live
in a sheltered world often. The things we stress about are such trivial
matters compared to the real needs and stressors of those less fortunate.
I just hope that I don't ever forget to be thankful to God for providing
for my basic needs and beyond. :) Random ramblings from a very tired
girl...
