This has to be destiny right? So I was sick last weekend and wasn't able to hit the open houses... so I missed out on this fabulous place completely. My fabulous on the ball realtor Sara Garabedian pointed me to it - and wrote an offer immediately for me!

No go on the house. This market sucks. Every house I've lost so far has gone a minimum of 25-35% over asking. Are these people nuts? You can't finance a house for more than its appraised value! Sheesh! I may have to rethink my strategy. I hate moving, and had wanted to lay roots -- find a house to stay in for years. Now I am thinking loft or condo... I can't afford the entry level homes out here.
For the friends far away, try searching www.realtor.com for what you think you can afford (and don't forget they go 25% over asking!) in berkeley/albany/oakland...
Sigh.
I'm putting an offer in on a house on wednesday. I know I've said it before, but this one really really is perfect. Please pray to the housing god for me... I hesitate to say any more lest I jinx myself!
