A relative passed away in her sleep, rather unexpectedly, and at a very young age, on Thanksgiving. I think we are all in shock. She was a newlywed, a mother with a new baby and two other children. The funeral was on Monday. I didn't know her very well - she's a relative of my sister's husband, but you can't help but feel the tragedy.
Today, Tuesday, my sister is (hopefully) giving birth to Tate Vaughn Jager. (I say hopefully so I don't jinx her and give her a 36 hour delivery ;))
The circle of life....
Upon arrival at work this morning, there was a dead intact mouse in front of my door.
Then, I got inside, and Joe was dead. My beloved and beautiful betta. Something's weird about it - I'm pretty sure I left his filter on (it was off), the water level wasn't really high enough for another suicide jump (my last betta committed suicide), and there is this weird white stuff floating on the water. Sigh.
