Most concerned with the shower top...

For reference, the original bath pics can be found here.
I spent hours today playing with my bathroom.
Yes, I know that sounds weird :)
I have successfully made some sweeping decisions, made a spec list for what I want, and googled like made to get pricing ideas. Still need a few actual shopping trips to find things that fit my generic specifications.
I also toyed with the design some in maya and will post some options later this week.
I wish I could give the shopping list to someone and snap my fingers, hehe. Framed shower door, check. Wall sconces - 2, silver (chrome, nickel, anything), pointing up, frosted glass to hide florescent, check.

Georgia Tech spectacularly lost today. Sob. It was a rough game to watch...
On a cheerier note, I went skiing last weekend for the first time since my surgery. I dosed up on anti-inflammatories, and stuck to rolling greens. It hurt. It was tight. But, amazingly, I could handle a few hours of it. Gone are the days where I can go on a weeklong trip, but at least now I know I can handle a half day on the slopes. I was swollen for maybe only 3 days afterwards :)
Now, more impressively is how sore I am today after a bit of minor gardening. I do this every time and you would think I'd learn. I was cutting back my calla lilies... and thus bending over at the waist. Doh!
I had a good month - skiing with Julian was such a great amazing weekend. The weekend prior I got together with some old sorority sisters for a wild time... and stories of wild times past... followed by an all day adventure to Sonoma. In Sonoma, I fell in love. Chateau Felice... check it out. My new favorite winery.
My to do list for the week, since I keep forgetting (by putting it online, Julian can nag me!):
get serpentine belts replaced, get blood drawn, refill scripts, schedule optomestrist appt
He: "You know I was watching House last night and it really makes-"
Me: "House was on last night?"
He:
Gone are the "race home to see 90210 at eight" days. In fact, I remember once returning from a fraternity beach weekend and parking in the front lawn, having the boys (and us of course) sprint into the house to watch.... 90210. I think. It might have been Melrose ;)
The thing is, you can't converse about tv at work so much anymore. The "Survivor" I watched last night I think was like three weeks old.
Tivo rules. Too bad they are dying! (I *like* the interface darn it... I don't care if someone else makes it cheaper)
I couldn't resist, after today's champagne toast to our Academy Award Winning "The Incredibles"... I asked Brad (Bird) to just hold it for a second... WOW!
It's every bit as awe-inspiring (and heavy) as everyone says :)
